Coastal Horizon House is a custom single-family residence designed to engage directly with the dramatic shoreline landscape of the Pacific Northwest. Positioned along a rocky waterfront, the home embraces expansive ocean views while maintaining a strong architectural presence within its natural setting.​

 

The design is defined by clean horizontal lines, dark natural materials, and generous expanses of glass that frame the ever-changing coastal horizon. A carefully composed combination of wood cladding, stone elements, and deep roof overhangs gives the house both warmth and durability, responding thoughtfully to the coastal climate.

Floor-to-ceiling windows connect the interior living spaces with the surrounding shoreline, allowing light, water, and sky to become part of everyday life. The open-plan layout creates a sense of flow and calm, while terraces and outdoor spaces extend the living environment toward the water’s edge.

Inside, the material palette balances contemporary simplicity with tactile warmth. Natural wood, stone textures, and soft interior lighting create a comfortable retreat that contrasts beautifully with the rugged coastal environment outside.
